A classic french toast recipe includes basic ingredients you probably already have on hand, creating a perfectly crisp on the outside, light as a feather inside and so scrumptious!
- 2 slices bread
- 1 egg
- 1/8 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
Beat together egg, milk, and cinnamon.
Heat a lightly oiled skillet over medium-high heat.
Dip bread in egg mixture. Fry slices until golden brown, then flip to cook the other side. Serve with butter and plenty of honey/maple syrup, and Strawberries.
