Persian Quince Tea
Quince is a rather unusual fruit that is closely related to apples and pears. There are many health benefits of quince, which include cancer prevention, weight loss, skin care, and more.Quince is a rich source of vitamin C, zinc, potassium, copper, iron, and dietary fiber. - 1 large quince
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Honey, to taste(optional)
Peel, core and chop quince into slices.
Place 6 cups water, cinnamon and quince slices in a saucepan and bring to boil. Turn down to a simmer and let it cook gently, partially covered, for 20 minutes, or until the quince flavor has sufficiently infused in the water.
Remove from heat and add honey to taste.
