One of our family’s stand-out favorites! It’s so comforting, satisfying, and delicious.
This dish is perfect in many ways. I made it with different pasta shape and add avocado on top, you can see on the photos!
- 1 cup uncooked pasta
- 200g ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tbs tomato paste
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 tsp chili seasoning
- 1 can pinto/kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1⁄4 cup low-fat your desire cheese, shredded
- 1/4 Cup water
- 2 tbs parsley
- 1 tbs green onion
Add 1 tbs oil in a pan over medium-high heat, Add ground beef and onion and cook, stirring and breaking up meat, for 10 minutes or until the meat is browned.
Mix in tomatoes paste, tomatoes, chili and water bring to boil. Stir in pinto/kidney beans.
Cook the pasta according to the package and set aside.
In a bowl add pasta and topped with meat sauce.
Sprinkle with cheese, parsley and green onion
